Seeds of the Fall
Patrik Eklund 2009 | Shorts, Animation, World Premiere
This is a fantastic film. Very funny, touching, great character development for a short, very real human emotions, unique story, surprise ending...totally a joy to watch. Deserves wide distribution.

Shorts Program I
Shorts
A for The Fence, A+ for Seed of the Fall...a wonderful, funny, clever, human love story. I'M Here (the robots) was touching, new and interesting, but didn't really move me. Logorama was a clever, fascinating allegorical fantasy about capitalism and where it leads if you follow the same road to its ultimate conclusion...well done, but not really compelling for me. Love shorts - this was a good set.

His & Hers
Ken Wardrop 2009 | World Cinema Documentary Competition, First Feature
Beautiful, fascinating, touching, especially for women. I loved that it was real people. It's ALL our stories, although it was particularly "Hers" - not much "His" in there. However, I found it a bit tedious, a bit boring, a bit lacking in forward motion that would have made it the arc of the story more compelling for me. Perhaps it could have been a little shorter.
