Photograph of Jesus
Laurie Hill 2008 | Shorts, Comedy, Political, Animation
I loved this. It was clever and fun. The little nuances were so funny - I could watch this many times and still find new things to laugh at. The animating is very impressive and quite humorous. Very entertaining.

Smash His Camera
Leon Gast 2009 | U.S. Documentary Competition, World Premiere
If there was a 4.5, I'd have picked that. Very entertaining, funny, intriguing. An interesting look into the life of a quirky, borderline crazy stalker/paparazzo. I do wish it had less of a focus on Jackie O; the non-Jackie/Galella-focused parts were my favorite.

Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child
Tamra Davis 2009 | U.S. Documentary Competition, World Premiere
Interesting film about the artist. Slow at times, but a good look into his life, his work, and his influence.
