Nice story opf love and marriage, a bit too far fetched and unconvincing at times. Gandolfini a bit awkward.

GASLAND

Better than I thought it would be, compelling message, low budget production values sometimes annoying!

Twelve
Joel Schumacher 2009 | Premieres, World Premiere
Joel Schumacher is a charmer, and his teen ensemble are very credible. Somehow there is a predictability about it... this isn't going to end well. Parents need to look at this and ask themselves if they are as guilty as these parents are.

Rob Epstein, Jeffrey Friedman 2009 | U.S. Dramatic Competition, World Premiere
Very clever use of B&W vintage shots, current interview, live performance, and animation. Woven together deftly, it worked so well. Congratulations!!

Taika Waititi 2009 | World Cinema Dramatic Competition, Comedy, World Premiere
A delight in every way! Great story, great acting from kids, humor and pathos in one. Taika Waititi wrote, directed, and plays the lead!! He is a real charmer and deserves to have tremendous success from this film.

Blue Valentine
Derek Cianfrance 2009 | U.S. Dramatic Competition, World Premiere
Not sure the interweaving present day and flashbacks really worked. Their relationship starts in lust, but never seems to get beyond that. What killed their passion?
